What Is Loxonin? Loxoprofen, Explained in English
Loxonin is loxoprofen, a painkiller not listed in US or UK medicine databases. Here's how Loxonin S, S Premium, and S Premium Fine differ, and how to buy them.
Loxonin (γγγ½γγ³, rokisonin) is a brand of painkiller in Japan. Its active ingredient is loxoprofen sodium (γγγ½γγγγ§γ³γγγͺγ¦γ ), a pain and fever reliever in the NSAID group, the same group as ibuprofen.
Depending on where you're from, you may not know it. Loxoprofen isn't listed in the US (DailyMed) or UK (emc) medicine databases. In Japan, you'll see it on the box as γγγ½γγ³ or γγγ½γγγγ§γ³.
Quick summary
- Loxonin in English: the brand is Loxonin, and the ingredient is loxoprofen sodium.
