Indication

Alleviation of the following symptoms of nasal allergies caused by pollen, house dust, or other allergens: nasal discharge, nasal stuffiness, and sneezing

Active Ingredients (per 1 tablet (daily dose))

Epinastine hydrochloride 20mg

Inactive Ingredients

Anhydrous silicic acid, lactose, hypromellose, povidone, ethyl acrylate-methyl methacrylate copolymer, macrogol, silicone resin, magnesium stearate, talc, titanium oxide, corn starch

Instructions for Use

  • Take with cold or lukewarm water at bedtime.

  • Do not take if you have had an allergic reaction to any ingredient of this medication.
  • Do not take if you have liver disease.
  • Do not use with other allergy medications (including medications for skin conditions or oral rhinitis medication) or internal medication containing antihistamines (cold medicine, cough suppressant-expectorants, motion sickness drugs, hypnotic sedatives).
  • After taking this drug, do not drive or operate machinery (may cause drowsiness).
  • Do not take before or after drinking alcohol.
  • Do not take if you are breast-feeding, or stop breast-feeding if you take this medication.
  • Consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered salesperson before use if: you are receiving treatment from a physician; you are pregnant or may be pregnant; you are elderly; you have a history of allergic reactions to drugs; it is unclear whether your symptoms are due to allergies or another cause; you have been diagnosed with bronchial asthma, atopic dermatitis, or other allergic conditions; or you are switching from a medication containing 10 mg of epinastine hydrochloride to this product.
  • Seek immediate medical attention if any of the following serious symptoms appear:
  • • Liver disorder: Fever, itching, rash, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes), dark urine, general fatigue, or loss of appetite.
  • • Thrombocytopenia: Decreased platelet count causing nosebleed, bleeding gums, or bruising.
  • Take with cold or lukewarm water once daily at bedtime.
  • For seasonal allergies such as hay fever, this medication is most effective when taken from the predicted start of pollen season or as soon as symptoms appear.
  • If symptoms do not improve after 1 week (including time on other epinastine hydrochloride medications), stop all epinastine medications and consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered salesperson.
  • If taken for more than 2 consecutive weeks even after symptoms improve, consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered salesperson.
  • When removing the tablet from the PTP sheet, press the raised portion firmly to push it through the foil on the back. Do not swallow the PTP sheet.
