Menstrual pain (mainly lower abdominal pain associated with loose stool)

Butylscopolammonium bromide 10.0mg

Inactive Ingredients

Lactose, silicic anhydride, hydroxypropyl cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, talc, triacetin, titanium oxide, iron sesquioxide, carnauba wax

Instructions for Use

  • Take with water or lukewarm water at intervals of at least 4 hours. Try to avoid taking on an empty stomach.

  • Do not use if you:
  • Have had an allergic reaction to this medicine or any of its ingredients.
  • Have had asthma after taking this medicine, antipyretic analgesics, or cold medicines.
  • Are under 15 years of age.
  • Are being treated for gastric/duodenal ulcer, blood disease, liver disease, kidney disease, cardiac disease, or hypertension; or are taking zidovudine (Retrovir).
  • Are within 12 weeks of your due date.
  • Have been diagnosed with glaucoma.
  • Do not take the following medicines while using this product: other pain relievers, cold medicines, sedatives, gastrointestinal antispasmodics, gastrointestinal medicines containing scopolia extract, or motion sickness medicines.
  • Do not drive or operate machinery after use. (Blurred vision or unusual light sensitivity may occur.)
  • Do not drink alcohol before or after use.
  • Do not use long-term.
  • Consult a doctor, dentist, pharmacist, or registered salesperson before use if you:
  • Are under medical treatment by a doctor or dentist.
  • Are pregnant or possibly pregnant.
  • Are breastfeeding.
  • Have had allergic reactions to medicines.
  • Have difficulty urinating.
  • Have been diagnosed with: cardiac disease, kidney disease, liver disease, systemic lupus erythematosus, mixed connective tissue disease, or bronchial asthma.
  • Have had: gastric/duodenal ulcer, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, blood disease, liver disease, or kidney disease.
  • Stop use and consult a doctor, dentist, pharmacist, or registered salesperson if any of the following occur:
  • • Skin: rash, redness, itching, or bruising.
  • • Digestive: nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, stomach pain, mouth sores, heartburn, gastrointestinal bleeding, diarrhea, or bloody stool.
  • • Neurological: dizziness, headache, drowsiness, insomnia, or low mood.
  • • Circulatory: palpitations.
  • • Respiratory: shortness of breath.
  • • Urinary: difficulty urinating.
  • • Other: blurred vision, ringing in ears, swelling, nosebleed, bleeding gums, bleeding, prolonged bleeding, back pain, fatigue, light sensitivity, or hot flushes.
  • Also stop use and consult if constipation or dry mouth occur and persist.
  • Stop use immediately and consult if you experience an excessive drop in body temperature, weakness, or cold limbs.
  • Seek immediate medical attention if any of the following serious symptoms occur:
  • • Shock (anaphylaxis): itchy skin, hives, hoarseness, difficulty breathing, palpitation, or confusion.
  • • Stevens-Johnson syndrome / toxic epidermal necrolysis: high fever, eye redness, lip sores, or sudden widespread rash.
  • • Liver disorders: fever, itching, rash, jaundice, brown urine, or fatigue.
  • • Kidney disorders: fever, rash, decreased urination, swelling, or joint pain.
  • • Aseptic meningitis: severe headache with neck stiffness, fever, or nausea.
  • • Myocardial infarction: crushing chest pain, shortness of breath, or cold sweat.
  • • Cerebrovascular disease: sudden confusion, difficulty moving one side of the body, or speech trouble.
  • • Asthma: wheezing or difficulty breathing.
  • • Aplastic anemia: bruising, nosebleed, bleeding gums, pale skin, or fatigue.
  • • Agranulocytosis: sudden high fever, chills, or sore throat.
  • • Gastrointestinal disorders: black stools, vomiting blood, or bloody stool.
  • If symptoms do not improve after 3–4 doses, stop use and consult a doctor, dentist, pharmacist, or registered salesperson, bringing this package insert with you.
  • (This may indicate menstrual pain due to an underlying uterine condition.)
  • Press the convex side of the PTP blister sheet firmly with your fingertip to break the aluminum foil on the back, then remove the tablet. Do not accidentally swallow the PTP sheet — this may cause esophageal injury.
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from high temperatures, humidity, and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Do not transfer to another container. Do not use after the expiry date.

Additional Information

Contains two active ingredients: ibuprofen, which reduces the source of pain, and butylscopolammonium bromide, an antispasmodic that relieves excessive uterine and intestinal contractions. This combination targets both the pain and the cramping involved in menstrual pain. Non-drowsy formula — 1 tablet per dose.
