Cough and expectorant medicine โ strawberry-flavored syrup for infants and children aged 3 months to under 8 years
Syrup
Relief of cough and phlegm.
Active Ingredients (per 60mL)
Dextromethorphan hydrobromide hydrate 20mg
dl-Methylephedrine hydrochloride 25mg
Guaifenesin 100mg
Chloropheniramine maleate 4mg
Nandina domestica fruit fluidextract (equivalent to 340mg crude herb) 0.34mL
Platycodon root fluidextract (equivalent to 150mg crude herb) 0.15mL
Senega fluidextract (equivalent to 150mg crude herb) 0.15mL
Inactive Ingredients
Sucrose, fructose, citric acid, sodium benzoate, paraben, ethanol, propylene glycol, caramel, flavoring, vanillin
Instructions for Use
- โTake after meals (and before bed if needed). Measure using the included measuring cup. Up to 6 doses per day if necessary, with at least 4 hours between doses.

- โChildren should take under adult supervision.
- โFor infants under 2 years: seek medical attention first; give this medicine only when unavoidable.
- โFollow the recommended dosage strictly.
- โDo not use if you have had an allergic reaction to this product or any of its ingredients.
- โDo not take together with other cough/expectorant medicines, cold medicines, sedatives, or other products containing antihistamines (including nasal allergy medicines, motion sickness medicines, and allergy medicines).
- โDo not operate vehicles or machinery after taking (may cause drowsiness).
- โ Consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson before use if you:
- (1) Are under medical treatment.
- (2) Are pregnant or possibly pregnant.
- (3) Are breastfeeding.
- (4) Are elderly.
- (5) Have had allergic reactions to medicines or other substances.
- (6) Have any of the following symptoms: high fever, or difficulty urinating.
- (7) Have been diagnosed with heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, glaucoma, or thyroid disease.
- โSeek immediate medical attention if any of the following serious side effects occur:
- Anaphylactic shock: itching, hives, hoarseness, sneezing, throat itching, difficulty breathing, palpitations, or loss of consciousness shortly after taking
- Aplastic anemia: bruising, nosebleed, bleeding gums, fever, pale skin or mucous membranes, fatigue, palpitations, shortness of breath, dizziness, blood in urine
- Agranulocytosis: sudden high fever, chills, sore throat
- โStop use and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson, bringing this package insert with you, if any of the following occur after taking:
- Skin: rash, redness, itching
- GI: nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite
- CNS: dizziness
- Respiratory: shortness of breath, breathlessness
- Urinary: difficulty urinating
- โIf the following symptoms persist or worsen after taking, stop use and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson, bringing this package insert with you: dry mouth, drowsiness.
- โIf symptoms do not improve after 5โ6 doses, stop and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson, bringing this package insert with you.
- โStore in a cool, dark place with the cap tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children. Do not transfer to another container. Rinse the measuring cup with water after each use and store it with the medicine. Wipe the bottle mouth before closing the cap to prevent the syrup from hardening. Do not use after the expiry date; once opened, use as soon as possible even within the expiry date. Shake well before use โ the syrup may settle due to the herbal extract, but this does not affect efficacy.
