Indication

Relief of pain, bleeding, swelling, and itching from hemorrhoids; topical application also provides disinfection

Active Ingredients (per 1 applicator (2 g))

Hydrocortisone acetate 5 mg
Tetrahydrozoline hydrochloride 1 mg
Lidocaine 60 mg
l-Menthol 10 mg
Allantoin 20 mg
Tocopheryl acetate 60 mg
Chlorhexidine hydrochloride 5 mg

Inactive Ingredients

Paraffin, isopropyl myristate, bleached beeswax, carbomer, olive oil, petrolatum

Instructions for Use

  • βœ“Two application methods are available:
  • βœ“(1) Injection β€” Remove the cap and insert only the tip of the applicator into the anus. Press to inject the full contents, then pull out while still pressing.
  • βœ“(2) Topical β€” Remove the cap and apply an appropriate amount directly to the affected area.
  • βœ•Do not use an applicator for injection if it has previously been used for topical application.

Adults (15 years and older) β€” Topical Appropriate amount 1 to 3 times a day

  • βœ•Do not use this product if you:
  • (1) Have ever had an allergic reaction to this product, any of its ingredients, or chlorhexidine.
  • (2) Have a pus-forming infection at the affected area.
  • βœ•Do not use this product for extended periods.
  • βœ“Seek immediate medical attention if the following serious symptom appears:
  • β€’ Shock (anaphylaxis): Skin itching, hives, hoarseness, sneezing, itchy throat, difficulty breathing, palpitations, or clouding of consciousness immediately after use.
  • ⚠Consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson before use if you:
  • (1) Are under the care of a physician.
  • (2) Are pregnant or may be pregnant.
  • (3) Have ever had an allergic reaction to a medicine.
  • βœ“Stop use immediately and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson β€” bringing this package insert with you β€” if any of the following symptoms appear after using this product, as they may be side effects:
  • Skin: Rash, redness, itching, or swelling
  • Other: Irritation or worsening infection
  • βœ“Stop use and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson β€” bringing this package insert with you β€” if symptoms do not improve after 10 days.

Additional Information

If the ointment is hard to squeeze, warm the applicator in your hands until it softens.
A small amount of ointment may remain in the applicator after use β€” this is normal and accounted for in the fill amount.
Do not flush used applicators down the toilet.
